The aim of the Dr. Siegfried Krüger Foundation is to support institutions with charitable and medical aims. The priorities of the foundation are to support financially the following types of activities:

• the development of innovative ideas and techniques in medicine and the pursuit of medical research
• the promotion of research via funding of specific medical projects
• teaching and medical education and training

The main focus of the foundation is to support the department of Urology of the University of Leipzig. The funds of the foundation are used to directly support the scientific and clinical work of this department.
